CoreXZ: First Prototype!

2016 - 2017

A first implementation of CoreXZ with a work area 12x12". CR10 platform was used as a base. Linear rails used for this prototype were borrowed from a large Kossel Delta. Actually, it was the first version of CoreXZ and was mainly intended as a proof-of-concept. This basic assembly helps us understand scalability and stability of our design.

CoreXZ: Prototype 3

2018-2019

After 2 years of trying and failing we are still in love with our CoreXZ. This version shows the way our evolutionary developing process goes. Frame was replaced with much stronger, rigid design (inspired by MendelMax 3D printer). Linear rails were replaced with smooth rods. We were trying to adapt different solutions, mostly re-designing Prusa's, Zaribo and Crearibo parts and components...
